Wideband Absorption Coefficient Determination of Glass Substrates (COMSOL Multiphysics)

I conducted a numerical study to determine the absorption coefficient of glass substrates over a wide spectral range using COMSOL Multiphysics. The work involved electromagnetic wave modeling, material parameter definition, frequency-domain simulations, and post-processing of transmitted and reflected fields to compute absorption. The project demonstrates practical application of multiphysics simulation, optical material characterization, and data analysis for broadband photonic and optoelectronic applications.
